I want to play that mod! But I have 56k and its like 700mb! Let me see, that would take like FOREVER! When I got my subscription to PC gamer they sent me a cd will a whole bunch of mods, Desert combat was one of them, I got so excited! But when I tried to install it I got a compression error! Oh well

Guns arnt the problem, people are the problems, shoot all the people and guns arnt a problems anymore.

Forgotten Hope and Eve Of Destruction are the best, realistic mods in BF1942.

Desert Combat is too arcade like for my taste.

Nobody like BFVietnam then?

I've been playing it online and getting my ass whooped - playing with my 2 bro's over lan with about 20 bots is great fun (any more and your left with no vehicles and a long walk when starting up).

Napalming a 'gook' village is a joy to behold (I usually stand and watch - until I get sniped ).
One annoying thing, in the release version the anti-tank dude has an awesome machine gun as well, making him the best character, but in the update the demoted him down to a little crappy air-rifle thing.

I have BF Vietnam too and i dont think it is as much fun as Desert Combat.... its better gfx but the helo steering is kinda goofy!!
