I just purchased DarkMatter2... good collection of models & animations but I was dissapointed that they only include .X files, and 3DS files are not even available separately. For my game I needed to create additional animations and modified weapons in 3DS Max. Does anyone know some way to import .X files into Max (unlikely)? Any advice appreciated.

Nice try, but crossroads can not even read .X files.
dannyboy is looking for a way to convert animated .X files into 3ds.

You could always try 3D exploration, it converts almost any kind of 3d file to any other kind of file.. i use it alot and it comes in VERY useful

I can see from your smile, you're not here for the sunset.
