Hey people, I'm just wondering two things...

1. Are X models small?
2. Can X models be used for ground and worlds?
3. What program makes X models?

In advance,
-Thanks people!

I've only made one model, so i'm a newbie to modeling, but i do know 2 and 3:
2. yeah, so can bsp and terrains
3. Blender 3d - i've used it to make a tank model: http://luke.dbspot.com

it's free and is not a demo version or has a time limit or anything.

For texturing, the model after you've made it, i recommend lithunwrap.

1. x models can be in ASCII or binary format, binary is smaller but not supported by many programs.

2. you can use the .x format to make any kind of 3D geometry.

3. there is a sticky post at the top of this forum that list NUMEROUS modellers that can make .x files.

good luck!
