I'm making images that could be usefull when you post in Apollo.

I've made a couple so far and compiled 1 gif.

Can someone tell me why this gif(http://ilsoft.phoenixrising-web.com/pics/flame1.gif) lags?

[EDIT] Push Ctrl-Alt-Delete and check your cpu and memory usage.

Useful for what exactly?

Oh no! Chrissy had used her powers to turn herself into a hideous man-eating giant!

That's 422KB of flameage, waaaaaay too much for those unlucky dial-up users. This site runs slow enough some days...

yeah reduce it down to something below 50k as a maximum and it would be still quite intensive for poor old 56kers.

open the gif in an inspector program and look for the timing between each cell or frame.

reduce its size to also alleviate some lag issues if the timing isnt the problem.

gifs just are not that crash hot at large sizes whenit comes to animation

Runs fine for me.
Almost no memory change and certainly not using up more than 2% cpu.

For the first one(in the first post)?
If so, then something's wrong with my pc.
