I'm a little surprised this hasn't been posted already (unless I missed it amongst all the Doom3 posts) but the new Brothers In Arms game looks and sounds absolutely amazing, take a look at the E3 Demo Movie where a couple of the developers show us around the game:

All I can say is 'wow', not only do the graphics look brilliant but the gameplay itself actually looks like a whole lot of fun. Demos like this one actually give us a fairly decent idea of how the game is going to play and I can see why Gearbox decided to do a video like this - they definately have something worthwhile to show off.

hmm. Looked like the WW2 version of the game that came out for xbox just recently. The one where you control 3-men us army squads in modern battlezones. (afghanistan... iraq)

This just looked graphically a lot more impressive. I loved the backgrounds!

I think the demo was way too long, though. (a bit sizey too!) Because of there wasn't all that much content in it. The thing that bothers me the most is that looked like it's for consoles. they even played like it was a console game. bloody annoying. Plus why did the other guy had to congratulate the player on each shot. I mean, the game looked pretty easy (if you just go on alone and save the AI rather than using it for risky situations) - but the player sucked. Even me playing that for the first time could probably have handled those situations better. much better.
