don't use the same teture over and over again like that - use a plain texture say a concrete one then add the vents as precals

believe me it will look better

but the level looks fine

Now of course I'm wondering why DeleD would crash often on your system, because i don't hear reports of crashing that often. Please mail me any specifics! Oh besides that, you could try the latest version which is 0.863.

Sure, if DBC can read ordinary .x files, it is.

Ok ill take out the generic texture later. Im not exactly sure but what do you mean by precal? Um JeroenNL, whenever I try to download the file from Delgine.com...it doesnt download. Is it possible to email me the file (if its not too much trouble?) I lost count of how many times I tried. Is there an alternate site I could go to download the new Deled?

Then I guess I truly am cursed
J, is there anyway possible you could email me that file, It just wont download for some reason. Im not bashing Deled, its the best 3D program Ive ever used, not to mention the only one ive ever fully figured out how to learn that didnt take 5 or more years to learn. Its simple, straight to the point and the results are nothing short of outstanding when used in a creative way, its just keeps dying on me... Think it might be Windows XP? Ive got direct X 9.0 an ATI radeon (relatively new version)graphics card, and I dunno...when I get an upgrade the problems should dissapear.

Seems you are cursed indeed GameFreak, for you seem to be the only one sofar that is having that much trouble with DeleD and also fail to download the latest version! Oh well, i've just sent you the latest version by email. It's 3.5 MB so let me know if you got it allright.

Windows XP should not be a problem, i use that myself too. A new graphics card should be great although I have not tested various cards. DeleD uses OpenGL but DirectX should not stand in the way (i have DirectX 9 installed here too). Btw, maybe its a good idea to continue this conversation at http://www.delgine.com/forum to avoid this DarkBasic forum getting flooded with DeleD specific questions...
