I recently downloaded firefox to see what it was like, and I like it, unfortuantly it kept crashing on my PC so it was very inpractical to use. Anyway, I've uninstalled it now but it's set up my computer to open all .htm files with firefox, which I obviously don't have. I can't get the 'Open with...' option when I right click on a file and double clicking just opens up a dialouge that demands to know where firefox.exe is.

Any idea how to change IE to the default?

There is no HTM!!

Edit: Ok I just tried to create a new HTM type, but an error message appears saying FirefoxHTM already uses that type - yet there is no FirefoxHTM on the list!

When you right-click a HTM file, hold down the SHIFT key. You'll then get the "Open With...". Select IE, and set to "Always Use this Program".

Heh, you have to use the uninstaller that came with FireFox, or go to Control Panel-->Add or Remove Programs, and Change/Remove FireFox.

I did use the uninstaller that came with firefox, the one in the 'Uninstall' folder > C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/Uninstall/Uninstall.exe I have 98SE, could that have something to do with it?
