I'm sure sombody released a program that allows you to create landscapes with .x objects... could the guy who did it let me know by emailing me with a link to his site or the program at [email protected]

I have no idea what you're rambling about. But, if you're looking for a free modeller that will allow you to create landscape like mesh objects and save to the X format, check out Metasequoia LE.

Somebody is busy creating a pretty nice landscape plugin for DeleD (see http://www.delgine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7). But you could also use Multiscape to create your landscape, then export to a DeleD prefab, load it into DeleD, export as .x and voila.

Gile[s] also has a free landscape generator available for it now.
