I would expect IS to be very rare now - I used to play it a lot with my Dad, until Emilyn Hughe's Soccer came out (many years later). In between we also tried Matchday II, and Microprose Soccer (my Dad didn't like for some reason). If I remember correctly, it came out the same time as the C64 did.

could have made a mint. Ah well, I needed the money at the time (probably).
Aside from the Archi. (and now the PC), the C64 was the machine I programmed on the most. Never did get the hang of programming on the Amiga (and never bothered with the ST anyway).
I think we ruined many a joystick with the Decathalon game (especially the Quickshot joysticks which had very thin (and poor) shafts. The one that lasted the longest was one with two large red buttons and a red round top - I believe it was the later model of Commodores joystick.
I hope Retrogamer do an article on Imagine games - before being taken over by Ocean they appeared to be a very dodgy company (and due to them most people think programmers earn enough money to buy fast cars). I did a search on on the internet and apparently a BBC crew was filming them just before they went bust.
