That's the way life is around here. In the wilderness, I suppose there's about an equal risk of them getting into a fight with a fox or a wolf or anything else that would find them crunchy and good with ketchup. Our cats have been around cars for years and know to look both ways; it's really not very dangerous. There's always a bit of a risk, but when in life isn't there?

Cats rule..... Since I've told my story so many times about my 2 cats, I'll put it in a short version.

-one is fat, and hates the other, and would kill him if she got to him
-the other cant go outside, is insane, is a wimp.

My cat (its supposed to be my sisters but she doesn't look after it) lives with a pretty big dog - they just about tolerate each other (the cat hates having his behind sniffed by the dog).

The dog will let the cat eat his food without stopping him (for some reason).

We've got two dogs and two cats and a 1.5 year old in the family. They all get along really well, although my dog Skye is deadly afraid of the baby, though the baby loves him. He gives all the pets killer hugs and kisses them and everything.

One of my cats goes outside from 7:00 am to 4:00pm
My other two cats arn't really supposed to go out side but they go on leashes anyway.
We have a HUGE cyote(sp) problem where I live.

Yes, I have heard you have a few big animal problems like that.

All we have to worry about here is other cats and traffic... And the odd fox (which a cat is more or less equal to anyway - especially if cats decide - for once - to work together).

Argghhh don't talk to me about foxes. We have a family of foxes living around our back gardens and they make so much noise in the early hours, waking everyone up. They also have the cheek to sleep in my back garden or on the shed roof when it's nice and sunny.

In Cyprus stray cats are a HUGE problem. Consequently most Cypriots hate cats and if there was a cat in the road they would most likley turn there car to hit it than avoid it, believe me, I have seen it done!

One of my cats (Scraggle as it happens) is a real fat B*Stard and because we can't let him out to exercise my girlfriend decided to buy a harness (fat cat size of course) and take him out for 'walkies'.

I promised her that I would never accompany her on her excersions for fear of losing any street cred that I may have but my promise was not neccessary because after the half hour of struggling to get the harness on him in the first place the fat b*stard refused to move until we took it off again.

She has never tried to fit the harness since!

I tried the harness thing for my old cat Mir Kat..
It was red, pretty cool, but he just wasn't that interested in going for walks.
It was more a case of me dragging him around the house with it.
So needless to say it was mostly a one shot event, never tried it again.

He was also an indoor cat. He didnt' really like outside all that much.
I think the feel of springy grass under his feet used to freak him out.

my cat knows some cool stuff.

I ask it who was a chinese dictator, shes says mao.
I also ask it whats another word for a fight, shes row.

thats about it tho, the rest of the time she just looks ticked off all the time.

The cat in sydney however was more agile and could pull ollies like in skateboarding, you put your hand out and she auto pats herself when your not looking and using the computer, she used to do an ollie to get the pat.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

Unfortunately whilst a cat should be able to go outside, in busy citys its not always possible. Mind you, you shouldn't really have a cat then.

They are all microchipped it is an essential part of getting their passport.

They wont like the collar though. None of them (we have 3) have worn one before so I don't think they will take to them.

My friend has cat problems.The nieghbor's cats are always digging through his trash so he has to always clean it up.
I (jokingly, mind you) suggeted putting rat poison in his garbageIT was a joke and not a sign of cruelty. I love cats
