In poking around, I've found that the full blown version of Truespace 6.6 plus 4 plug-ins can be had for $100 more that Gamespace! That is $399.00 for the TrueSpace 6.6 package.

My question...Is TrueSpace 6.6 just as functional for game modeling, and .x exporting as Gamespace? If so, I'd spring the extra money for it.

This price is due to their 10th Anniversary and good until 9/02. (Not sure about the date)

The .x exporter for Truespace 6.6 is pretty much useless, for it won't output animation data. Other than that, TS6.6 is definitly better than gamespace in my opionion.

With TS6.6 you have more render options,and easy ability to make avi's.

If you just need a tool to make .x models though, go with gamespace. If you're thinking about doing artwork, making cut-scenes, etc. then go to TS6.6.

Best to ask this at the caligari or gamespace forum though.

Simple

Gamespace = world edit, character edit, levels and extras
Truespace = " , " , " and animation on AVIs

so

Gamespace
--------- = ????
Truespace

figure out the maths!

think once play twice sleep third
