OK work so far:
1) now have wheeled vehicles ready
2) Tracked vehicles ready ( just need to associate the joystck hat code with the player camera and tank turret and tank weapons , I think I have that)
2)2 types or air and spacecraft ready
3)2 types of hovercraft tanks ready skirtless and skirted
4)Wig vehicles ready ( same as above as I will be including the hovercraft skirt version, might even do the skirtless version as well

Work to be done
1) Get the skirtless hovercraft to "jump2 properly
2) Get the VTOL plane to take off and land vertically without cutting out the forward, backward and flying controls
3) Allow the player to get in and out of mulitple vehicles
4) Do friendly A.I
5) Do enemy A.I
6) Alllow ALL a.i pilots to get into and out of mulitple vehicles
7) Make all fighting vehicles accesible to both the player and his /her a.i & the enemy a.i except the heavy tracked tanks which would only be accesible to the side it is on although that might change.

Well, progress report coming up:

1) Skirtless hovercraft can now "jump" properly
2) I can now get the VTOL craft to work properly, it goes up and down in VTOL mode and can fly and everything else without cutting out the flying controls. So, the day comes I want to make a really serious VTOL flight sim I can tweak it that bit more, or I can take the VTOL flight stuff out and make it take off like a conventional plane

You do know that you can just edit your last post, and add more screen shots to it

I understand if you do it again because someone posts in between, but it's better to just put them all in one post instead of 3 seperate ones by yourself.. also gets you in good habit to edit your posts.

On another note.. looks good to me. I've been tempted many times to give a go at making a single player planetside type game, but just havent gotten around to it yet(if ever). This kind of gives off a faint feel to it(especially from the first picture). I like it.

Geez...you posted 9 times in a row. Even I don't do that on my game threads.

Your game is starting to look pretty nice. Be careful about how high poly your models are. That last spaceship looks pretty high poly. How many polygons does it have?

Good Luck with your project!

Yeah Yeah Peter H I got the goddamn message, anyway, the way games are going, my models with the high polys will have to be included, I shall though, have to include some lower models for this version of "Solar Dominion"

problems: getting the damn player to get into the vehicle and to control the vehicle with a joystick and the player with a mouse plus get the player out using the "glue to object unglue object commands"
