hello people,
i have a 9200 ATI graphics card with 128MB of memory. when i play some games with huge graphics my PC restarts automatically. i dont know whats wrong. as i'm playing and happy i suddenly find the PC restarted. what could be the problem?

check your video cards drivers for the most up to date ones.

check your computers direct x version.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

also go into ur computer's properties and disable "restart on all errors"

Are you sure the pc´s not overheating due to the strain the cpus going through?

Most likely you need new directx and drivers, as indi said.

Get 15 new commands, all the date / time commands left out of DBPro for free!

well i did update my graphic cards drivers. and i also installed directX 9.0b. the PC just keeps restarting or i find my self suddenly in the desktop whenever im playing in the middle of a game. this is really strange. a grahpic card like that doing all this. i noticed there is no heat fan on it. but there's a metal heat sync. there's no heat on the graphics card. any new suggestions?

go to the properties, and see what setting the AGP slot's being use with correct settings. i had the same problem with a few games, and it was because the AGP slot wouldnt activate
