This is the game I'm working on for the compo. I'm remaking a Scorched Earth style game. I know the name is stupid, but I'm not exactly the type who's good at thinking up all sorts of clever stuff.

I'm going to have a few screens in a while here, I'll post them when I get to it.

By the way, I'm using DBC

doesnt it make sence to make this topic when your ready to show your pics, announcing a game isnt that spectacular :-p, unless you have pics to show off, or a demo or something

hope it looks good when you do post the pics

Alright, sorry about the wait. I've finally had the time to upload my screens.

[edit] I used to have some screens here, but I removed them because they're out-of-date. Look below.

To get rid of the dodgy lines where the matrix hits the ground put set camera range 5,10000 before the main loop.

Otherwise looking good - I like the stadium idea. Might want to get some better people textures :/ Maybe have rows of plains textured with a crowd?

OK, WELL, I had to completely remove that island matrix because of conflicts between my matrix editor and how I was working my program. I'm going to make a random terrain generator, but I'm working on the physics and AI for now. Here are some more up to date screens:

By the way, I'm going to touch up on stuff like the textures and effects after I get some other parts of the game done. What do you think?

Thanks. I'm starting to work on the shooting and the method the thing uses to take turns. Unfortunatly, I can't seem to make DB detect the collision between the bullet and the arena. Errm...
