I am finding out how to make models in 3dsmax6 and exporting them into dbpro using panda .x exporter. What do I need to do in both panda .x exporter and in dbpro to display the texture and play the bones animation. I am able to load and see the model but it isnt textured and the animation doesnt play when I use the play object command. Thankyou

Search the board for Panda and you might be able to find the settings that you need since it has been mentioned before. DBP will support boned and animated .X models. The question is, does Panda?

Sorry I can't offer more help. But, I use a different development path (DoGA CGA/Metasequoia/Milkshape + CharacterFX.)

Care to post the URL so other Panda users can benefit from that? My suggestion would be to start a new message with the tilte being something like "Panda tutorial URL". A meaningful title is important since that is the only thing that the forum search feature keys off of.

In my experience the DirectX9 SDK Extra's Xporter works better.
Panda has a habit of doing weird things, might've changed since i lasted used it.
