When i export my car model as a .x file, dbp can't load it. When I open it in word pad it is readable:

however, the other models i have that do load correctly are NOT readable in wordpad, they have unreadable characters but load correctly in dbp. does anyone know how to make blender export a model in .x format correctly OR how to convert the unloadable type of .x to the loadable type?

Maybe something is wrong with the material definition. Here's a definition that works.



Something like that works perfectly. Notice that the material in your file does not have a texturefilename. Maybe DBP does not like that very much?

an un-loadable file is usually a result of some mistake in the export settings that DBPro diesn't like. try re-exporting with different settings...

there aren't too many blender users here, so it might be difficult to find someone who can explain the exporter properly...
