i got tanks and bullets all worked out! whoo hoo!
you can now control a tank and blow up the terrain with it

Worked fine the second time I started it for some reason. The first time, I did not get any terrain.

BTW the bullet graphics are temporary and will depend on which type of bullet you are firing...also i'm thinking of making the tanks smaller(the tank in the pic is a medium tank...but the tank you get in the demo is random...so try playing it more than once)

don't forget in the demo you can still right click to change the weapon type and left click to create explosions...


today i will update the graphics some...and maybe work out that whole file thing(instead of the flashing images)

update


changed-
you can now blow yourself up
placeholder for bullet graphic is much better..
bullet now points in the direction it is moving
improved the gravity(it was to light)
added floating health number
added floating red numbers for when you get hurt
and a few more small things...

Update


Added-
at the begining of the game it lets you select your tank...(will be different in the finished version of course )
you can now select you weapon with the buttons at the top of the screen
you have limited ammo everything except the small missile(unlimited on this)
the shields now will protect you from damage...they take as much of the damage as they can take then the rest gets applied to you normal health...they can also be destroyed and then the glowing line around you will no longer be there...
also the armor adds to your health
added a new weapon..."Sonic Blast"(will be the medium size of a series) it does the same damage as a medium missile..except shields don't effect it

Next to add-
An enemy tank will be in the next upload...so you can finally blow up something besides yourself
possibly a menu or some more GUI elements

I looked at it, and it's coming along very nicely! I couldn't get the game to switch explosion types, however... Or the weapons But it's looking very promising!
