Hi all. this is my 1st propper 3d model for my game i've tried making.

I know it not the best thing out there but i don't think its bad for about 2 hours work.

Heres the direct link to the redered picture. (angelfire does hate remote linking).

http://www.angelfire.com/super2/vb_ace/model.jpg

Any comments would be welcome.

It isn't textured yet, but i've put some colours on it to help show the different bits. I don't know the poly count yet but it shouldn't be huge.

chears peeps

Seeing all these models get posted makes me want to post some stuff I've been working on. But alas, I'm just a humble crumy modeller.

You've proven you can model a plane, now perhaps model it using a refrence so it'll look for sky worthy.

i wasn't actually trying to madel a plane. It's supposted to be a space fighter. It is my 1st "true" attempt at a one and i had no referance pictures to go by either.

but what exactly do u mean by the end of the quote? it don't make a whole lot of sence. If u ment a sky background then i'll but that in later one i've figured out how the texture the thing

yeah it does a little

but the jet fighter in 3d max ain't made of 6 cubes and have over 1000 pollygns in it. and i didn't use any background images either.

i've just started to texture it now so i'll post a screen shot of it when its done.

As is, reminds me of an insect. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
