The water collecting in the craters is a nice touch. Good to see that walker getting into action.

no, it's not a scorched earth re-make, i recognize those models from a thread awhile back...

no he hasnt, the models were in a post a while back, as i believe he was hosting these files for a free download of his site.

yea it looks cool, especially all the different weather effects

well assuming hes using one massive object for his terrain, dbp coults the polycount of the whole terrain not just the bits your looking at so the polycount should be much lower

We've wanted to write a mech game for some time so Nick started producing the media some time ago, but we've only just got around to useing them in this game.

You meen up to 300k polygons. The critical information is the framerate, the game is designed to make use of whatever hardware you have and 300k isn't a problem for a decent PC. The framerate on my PC, which isn't quite that high specced [as Nick's], is still playable with everything switched on.
