Okay so ive been studying 3ds max for a while, looking thru tuts and stuff, but never really tried anything out. So heres an attempt at a bed.

Also, my question about texturing, I have photoshop, does anyone know of any place that has TEXTURING with photoshop tutorials? Not like just making graphics, but making textures. Thanks!! c & c welcome!

oh yeah sorry about that black patch in the bed it was just like a stupid photoshop error

Lol yeah the bed looks odd because Its supposed to be the top half of my bunk bed...and after we moved we started assembling it again, but on of the planks broke and we never got around to like fixing it.

As for the photoshop tutorials, at psionic's site under photoshop i dont see any texturing tutorials... Thanks.

Nice work! I'd try to lower the poly count though. Most of the detail in your model should be in the texture and the not the actual polys.

Yeah see thats why i was sort of confused...the mattress part was reealy high poly for some wierd reason. The bed frame was only like 50 polys but then i added the mattress with a meshsmooth...the bang, 800 polys more.
