I can get .3ds models to load up on Darkbasic, but when I texture the model on 3d max, then load them on darkbasic pro. The darkbasic compile it, then nothing happen. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

darkbasic pro doesnt support .3ds models (gay i know). You need to convert the model to .x format. Try the shareware version of quick 3d. Or if that doesnt work send it to me and i can convert it for you.

Cheers!

getting back to the question. Darkbasic does support .3ds model, but for some reason it doesn't load up .3ds with texture on it created in 3d max. Am I suppose to render the 3d model with texture on it before loading in DarkBasic Pro or something like that? Anyone knows???

the best thing would be to convert your 3ds to a .x
DBP native =)
there are converters / exporters on the web. A little googleization and youre done searching.

If you want to stick with .3ds, i don't think you can read textures of 3ds'es with DBP.
you little rich guy who's working with 3dsmax =) lol

Search for Panda X exporter for 3ds max on google, its a great .x exporter for 3ds max. Also .x has automatic texturing so the textures will automatically show up.
