3 Dimensional Chat / CharachterFX Loading Problem

Hi,

I have downloaded the evaluation version of CharachterFX. It says that the program has no modelling capabilities, so I've tried to load .3ds programs I've fished around for on my computer, and it just says "Obsolete File Name" or something along those lines. It also claims that it can't read certain charachters of the program it's loading.

Please Help!

I've had problems with .3ds, like real long loading times and it apparantly eats memory like it was toast when importing .3ds.

Look around for a free converter, the last time I converted my .3ds to a LWO Lightwave object and it imported really quickly and neatly.
