This is my very first human model that did in 3D Canvas and number 8 th model that I ever did in my life. So please be nice on the review I know that there are things wrong with it. I have some questions about using 3D Canvas.

1 What is the best way to make a nose?
2 Is there a tut on making hands?
3 How do I find out the polygon count in 3D canvas?

Thank you for critique and for any help you can give me.

Hehe, first model... ok, it's good for your first.

She looks like a bunch of boxes put together though.

I've never used 3d Canvas, so can't help you there, but for a hand... google 3d modelling human hand or some such.

Hey Thanks for looking, I was trying to keep the polygon count down. She looks a little bit better in the program, o-well next time I'll put more in the model.

If you keep the 'boxy' look for all your characters, then I think it's pretty cool, coz you are making a 'style' for your game.
Every model doesn't have to be precisely humanoid, especially if the game you write has loose requirements in that area.

Well done on the model.

Thank you for the encroachment, I hoping that one day I can make models that can be put in all of my games. High poly, low and medium it just takes time to be good at it. I'll get there one day

For a first human model I don't think it looks half bad. I think you have the proportions right (which is more than I can say for some other models posted on here ), and if you just smooth out the corners a bit I think it'll look pretty much spot on .

Isn't it? Wasn't it? Marvellous!

@ Thanks Hamish McHaggis you should see the next one I did much improvement over the frist one, and this one took about 2 hours and the first one took 4 hours to do

@ ifman1 what can I say, I was trying to follow my image plane and thats how it came out. And trying to get that sexy type body and low polly count for human figure it's not easy.

I don't know what happen to my last message? I guess it got misplaced when windows was updating itself and I was posting a response to the last message, windows you got to love it. Ok hear it is again.

- Hamish McHaggis, Hey thanks, you should see the next one I did it took about 2 hours to do and the first one was about 3 hours for me to do. I was able to make some improvements over the fist one I did with making the upper body look lot more rounder. On the arms, chest and the nick. And working with 3D Canvas is not that easy, but I do find it easer to make 3D objects than to program a game right now.

- ifman1, What can I say I was following my image plane that I have made. Trying to get a low poly count and a good looking woman is not that easy to do. I’m trying to keep it down to about a thousand vertices and faces.
