C4D is better than TS6.6 but it cost more
TS6.6 cost $595 but they always have sales and you
can get TS6.6 for $400-$300 depent on the sale.
C4D cost +600 Euro. In this price you can buy only
C4D without any module. which is also good but not the best.
I recommend you to download both trials and try them and you
can buy TS first (since its cheaper) and later on buy C4D.
Plus you can buy C4D in cheaper price if you have any other modeling
program like TS

Truespace 5.2 for only $99.

I beg to differ. Although, I think you may need the studio or XL edition to animate on older C4D versions.

Both are very good packages. Truespace is lighter on the wallet and can do everything C4D can. That being said, C4D seems to be a more solid package (especially for rendering, though TS has a very good render as well, almost as good.).

Comparing those two packages is very difficult, both will get the job done fine.

Also, it's always a very good idea to check for student pricings if you're a student.

Excellent deal for C4D.

Caligari always has better deals then anyone at their homepage though.
