Or you can get Pop goes the Gmail, which allows it to be POP3.

Pop Goes the GMail = Outdated now, the owner wont update it or release the source either. Hopefully he will get his act together and finish it up, GMail's servers probobly wont change TOO drastically before launch (which will be soon).

Things I don't like about gmail:
How every email has to be formatted(there should be an option)
You can't use HTML.
And in yahoo, you can't edit HTML.
Why?

because html IS BAD IN EMAIL..

wtf do you need html in email for?? It's just another way to get more spam/viruses/scams going around

what do you mean it has to be formatted? You mean in the thread style view? what's wrong with that? It's a heck of alot easier to follow replies rather than

> bla bla
> > blabla

bla >b.al lbal
>>blas

a jumble of >>>>

HTML mail is much more professional and looks better. Plain text is just too simple.

If you want a professional email account, you'll pay for one. If you want a free email account, you'll get what you pay for.

@ AluminiumPark

It doesn't have 1 GB, it has 1000 MB (there are 1024 MB in 1 GB)

Looks pretty cool though (better than 2 MB with hotmail!)

it has one gig...

when you fill it up, it won't start deleting/bouncing messages until you reach 1024mb.. they put in 1000 for some stupid reason, prolly because most people wouldn't get the idea...

so in the end you could reach up to 104% or so..

And no, email is not more professional as HTML.. I don't use HTML in my messages, I don't allow html (when I was using yahoo) and I've never seen a drop of it in any of my personal messages anyway, unless it was from FAMILY, never had a drop of html in any of my work emails...

what's html do for email anyway? Put in time/bandwidth wasting formatting where plain text would have been just fine to send
