I have a motherbord and it has a DTS OUT on it. but its 7.1
and my surround sound system is 5.1

Is there any way I can download a driver to make it to give out 5.1
sound?

I just dont wont to have to buy a 70$ sound card.

go into sound setup and change it to 5.1, go to sounds and audio devices properties, click advanced in the speakers section and then select 5.1 in the drop down menu, is that what you wanted?

Mentor.

I did that but nothing. It has to do with the driver for my mother bord. I mean if it can handle 7.1 then it can handel 5.1.

still no luck.
