I'd like to come to this convention, but sadly, no beer for me, i'm only 12.
I'm O.K at Sprites n such, made a few metal slug like sprites a while ago.
I think this convention would be a great idea, but we need to think of location. so far i think everyone wnts it in sydney, But WHERE in Sydney. when we have nailed it down to a suburb in sydney, we need to find a spot some where in that suburb. Somewhere like a R.S.L, a PCYC (Police Cadets Youth Club), and maybe even a neighbourhood centre.
Another thing we need to consider is $$$ money. We would need this to book the place were we r gonna have it. i think the best way to overcome this dilemma is to have an entry fee, about $5 - $10 dollars.
Flibble- you were talking bout some warehouse of somesort (or was that indi?) this would be a good place to have it.
On the subject of bringing your computer i cant do it, my comps a real crap one and it isn't even a notebook/Laptop.
if we have surplus money maybe we could hire some laptops.
Anyways, thats it for me, my favoured location would be Penrith, Because its pretty close to me, has a PCYC and stuff like that.
