i deleted all images for thread space, those 2 on top are what ive done so far, the car is modeled, im starting th uvw's and then texture it.

Before you ask "Why not use gmax" you should ask yourself "How can I export this model to a format DBP will use?"


High quality models and graphics, low prices. Graphics for the rest of us.

i can in fact export this model out of gmax, with an exporter plugin, gmax is really good, i like it a lot, and if you worth the time to it you will figure out how to exported to .x or .3ds, you only need milkshape to do the conversation and the exporter plugin.

i asked if the model whas good or bad and i end up talkign to myself, plus, if you spend your time saying not to use gmax, say it on a thread about that, in my post, just reply if you liked the model or not, and stuff directly related to the model geometry, dont waste your time telling me what to use or not to use, i dont give a f***, anyway, thanks for viweing the model thow.

Gmax is good.. Just not great. Definitely worth the price though

those are just colors assigned to polys...

i should know i was addicted to GMax...until i found i can't export ANIMATED models, but let's not go there...we want to talk about this great model!

thanks for teh comments guys, but in fact this model is w.i.p. , i know see that ive should sayd that in first time, now i understand why people didnt post about the model, anyway, i wont finish it for know because i have some stuff to do for other ppl projects, ill try post a flatshaded pic of the new model (ive done some mods).

why have you defined detail on the hubcaps? that'd be better off left to texturing.

other than that, it looks nice and low poly, but there's a few edges that need playing with.
