Your absolute best bet is to learn as much as you can first and then post
specific questions in the new comers board. At the new comers board, a lot of vets pop in and try to help. There is also something of a tradition where people who have been helped turn around and share their knowledge and help others. You can also search the threads there and read the sticky posts to learn more.
This is how the DBC/DBP community is set up and it has been honed by years of experience into a system that is easy for the new comer and not a burden on any one developer.
