Realised i've spammed these models i've created on every forum I visit except the one they are actually relevent to... eheh...
Some early works, pretty much done just for the purposes of testing. Using Gamespace 1.5

Ark - Terranigma
Ark - from Terranigma. First proper attempt, tried to create something recognisable... or at least recognisable to anyone who has played Terranigma

Enbu Pike
A weapon from the above game...

Ark with Enbu Pike
And I eventually worked out how to animate models and gave Ark the spear to hold also... same models: Bullet Time

Katey
This was just a cute lil character that popped into my head so I figured i'd try making. Perhaps one day she can be in a cutesy little platformer ^__^

Egypt stuff?
And some things done for practice... a couple of these models will be used for my competition entry

Well, that's all i've got so far... figured i'd post em here seeing as everyone else does mehe. If anyone want's the Ark model, I will happily give him away as I have no further use for him :p

Yes, I very much like the style as well. Mind posting some renders of the characters smooth shaded? I just want to see how the geometry is laid out. It seesm that you've done a good job with your polygons so far.

Keep up the great work Tifu.

Would that be accomplished by clicking on render scene (which I did on the Ark+Enbu pic and the Egypty stuff), or is smooth shading different from that? Still getting used to terms for stuff ^^

Thanks. Yeah, I like a somewhat cartoon style, probably a good idea for me to look into cartoon shading for future projects...

Here's a lil screeny of my game, i'll probably release a beta once I have some of the models redone. Like the snake has no actual head at the moment, the Anubis messed up somehow and needs a new skeleton and some things at the mo are just placeholders...
It's a snake game of course, with egypty themed textures (snakes + egypt = always cool) and the game has a much more puzzle-themed gameplay (keys, switches, etc...) ah what the hey, a shot of the level editor too

My fault, I just read you were using gamespace. Disregard my smooth shading comment.

Smooth shading is just a way of rendering that sort of blends colors together to make a smoother effect.

Merix: Yeah, it's for the comp

MikeS: Aha. Gamespace does have a few rendering options, but I don't see smooth shading in the list alas

Toilet_Freak: Terranigma Lego? I'd buy that ^__^

Yeah, it does look like lego. Hey Tifu, in my thread I need some help as it relates to coardinates, could you check it out? Other than the "lego" feel toilet freak was talking about there pretty good.

Got anime?I do.

Those models look cool

I'm making a 3D platforming game, this is the most recent thread with some screenshots and a demo...
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=38876&b=8

I was wondering if you'd be interested in making me 1 model, similar to the Katey model to play the female interest in the game?
( nothing too fancy, maybe just a few texture changes? )

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Thanks in advance,
Drew Cameron

AnimeBlood: Replied to your thread

Drew: Ooh a request . It would have to wait till after I finish my models for my snake game, which shouldn't be that long (snake head, neck and body... and a couple other things)
Send me a description, i'll doodle some sketches when I have time and work on it when I have a chance

@ Tifu:
I'm thinking of a slight adaptation of that "Katey" model, with bitmap textures supplied for me to edit in the face in sync with the rest of the game's characters and maybe to change the clothes etc...

You wouldn't need to make many changes to the actual model, maybe just tuck in the tummy a bit, and some (very small) breasts on the chest, to turn it from a little girl into a female character.

My e-mail is [email protected], i'd appreciate if you'd e-mail me

Cheers,
Drew Cameron
