just curious if DBC supports reflection maps at all, i think that may be alot of my texturing probs.

because the skin, and some other textures work fine in the DB model viewer, but the armor which uses reflection maps to looklike polished metal wont show, and i think its because the texture for it is a reflection map and not a diffused color

i am using 3ds max and using the material editor, and everything looks perfect in max but one in game, or DB model viewer i can get the textures for the "metal armor" any thoughts on how to fix this, without using just a plain old diffused color?

if by reflectiaon maps you mean something like cube mapping, then no dbc doesnt support it but i guess you could fake it one way or another

ok here is a rendered version of the dwarf character i am working on, that shows the use of the reflection maps i was refering to, but unfortunately if i cant use reflection maps in DB then i wont get the "shine" that this armor has.

ohhh and by reflection map i mean just a bitmap image used as a texture, like a normal diffused texture map, but instead of being used as diffuse in 3ds max it is in the reflection spot, ya may not know what im talking about unless your fimiliar with 3ds max
