rigged with bones right? using mesh deform?

with mesh deforms make sure its in the format that db(p) can support, if its all fine then just import the export back in and kill the bones, yu'll stilll keep yur anims, theres a better way of cleaning up but I dun have time to type that much. try that first neway. <- ^^

What software are you using to model, and/or animate?

im using 3d canvas and the format im using to export in .X so i think that is no the problem. im not sure if what im using is mesh deform but i cant delete the bones in the object bc the arms are one object and the legs too...so i need the bones to move them by using the bones to apply a skin...if you know how to make it so i dont need the bones in the object that would be greatly appreciated.

maybe I was unclear....

1)export yur model to .x like yu have
2)import it back in to yur 3d canvas
3)delete the "bones"
4)re-export the model
