Hi all,

I need some Icons for PlayBasic's run time debugger. Currently the controls are just Text buttons. But since there's issues with those and icon would look much better anyway. I'm in need of artist.

We need the Icons to be square. I'd much prefer them to be 16*16, but you can make them larger if you like. No larger than 32*32, this will eat up way too much real estate on the debugger window..

We need Icons for the following controls

HALT = Stop program execution
STEP = Step to next line
TRACE = Trace the program, Ignores stepping into nested function calls.
GO = continue running the program
END = Quit the debugger/program completely

If anybody is interesting, willing and able to help out.. please feel free !

Note: Please be aware that you might well be asked to draw some more icons in future. Since this is current a work in progress. At this point, even some mock ups would be greatly appreicated. (all _used_ art will of course be fully credited)

PS: This doesn't fall in any existing forum around here, since it's _not_ DB/DBpro related.

http://www.axiomx.com/PixelToolbox/index.htm

Free icon, cursor maker simple to use you can make them by pixle art or load a image in and export the image to either or make sprites.
You didn't really state a theme like text color or background color so you might want to give some more info on what your looking for so they would fit with you existing work.

They're both 32x32, made with The GIMP.

Zone Chicken,

Thanks for the link, that looks to be an interesting tool..

Style wise, well there's really no limit. I don't have a clear vision of what style I'm after. I would rather clean/simple over flashy though.

Sadly, There's not real an art direction for the entire package. Almost all of the art comes from different artists. oh well.. A few guys over RTG have had a go..

JessTicular,

Thanks for the effort, we really a set. Even if there just mock up at this point..

Here's what the guys at RTG have come up with to date. I'm going to try them all out and see what ones fit/feel best..

I think what you need is a whole GUI builder set - like window edges, and lots and lots of icons. I'll see if I can come up with something later, but if I do I'll make as many bits as I can - it all looks so much better if it matches - and if you use a single image and grab the bits, you can easily allow people to make their own skins and share the same image for other applications.

Van,

That sounds lovely, but i'm really limited to what can be put in the window. A tool bar is about it. The debugger window is nothing more than a Tabber, with a few text boxes in it.
