ok here what is happening i have a model im working with mentioned in my last post, when i view export and view the model without his armor it loads fine into DB viwer, but when i export him with his armor and attempt to view it in DB viwer it never loads and just kicks me back to the coding window of DB, i had origanally thought perhaps it was due to the use of the reflection maps i used in my previous post, but have scince revamped the models textures without them, but still crashes when i attempt to view him with the armor on.

Any thoughts on what the cause would be? i know it must be to do with the textures somehow, but not sure just what, because if i delete all textures, and import the model with armor as just a non textured model, the whole thing loads fine.

The only thing I can think of is to make sure the textures are stored in the same folder as the model, if it can't find or load the textures, it might give that error.

well thats the first thing i checked, and yes all the bmp's used are there, altho some of the textures are only diffused colors from 3ds max and dont use a map, the funny part is is that if i load the character without armor i can view him fine, and if i load the armor i can view that fine as well, but to try and export them both and veiw it as one model, it dont happen, and just crashes DB media viewer
