That looks really nice for a first car model! It is probably better than I could do. A couple things though...

-It looks a little bit like it was made of clay. I am sure your future models will be smoother though.

-You should make some rims for it...not that difficult

-It looks really high poly, not good for a game. How many polys does it have?

Good Job, I can't wait to see more cars made by you. (Make a Porsche!)

It isn't just for XBox, it is for all 3 video game consoles and PC. Okay Lord Aramus, what operating system are you using? Most likely Windows...Microsoft Windows....

Anyway...

How many polys are in your Elise?

I use windows for compatibility reasons. But I am sloooowly converting to mac and linux

My beef with microsoft is that they are trying to take over yet another industry by making consoles.. I personally think they should stick solely with OS's and Office Suites.. then maybe Win XP and office XP wouldn't be so darned buggy

I am sadly still a nintendo diehard Something about "Windwaker" just makes me salivate

umm, that doesn't look like the elise I've seen. better model than i could make though.

and just in case any of you were wondering how big the car actually is, here's a little reference. you gotta see it in person to get the full beauty of it though.

here's also a tutorial on modelling the elise.

ok, letme explain something:
if MICROSOFT droped their console, they would produce the SAME QUALITY software as they are now. why? because XBOX and WINDOWS are TWO COMPLETLY separate areas in microsoft, they have a team for SOFTWARE they have a team in XBOX, and both branch off into differnt areas themselfs, and the people in ONE area dont even KNOW WHO is in the other areas, (well, the programers, team leaders or whonot might know eachother) so saying what you said here
"then maybe Win XP and office XP wouldn't be so darned buggy" is just ignorance

thats really low, microsoft is TONZ better than any mac, any day, and THAT is saying something...

you obviously have never used a mac. ask a mac user what a blue screen of death is, and they'll stare at you clueless to what you just asked. now thats saying something.

lol get a life, I use mac / pc and linux based risc pcs as well as SGI and SUN systems and there all just as bad and good as each other. anyone who bags another operating system seriously isnt a die hard computer fan. there a non informed silly twat with an opinion based on misinformation and lack of experience with the total computer platforms used in the world outside of the messy bedroom.

what amazes me with pc heads who think macs are bad is that pcs take technology from macs all the time and intergrate it into the windows system, then they think its cool or new or something lol. how naive is that.

here is some examples u can cry to mum about because u thought they were pc first.

first personal computer
first color monitor
first Floppy Disk Drive
first mouse
first speech technology
first animation technology
first plug and play
first laserwriter
first foreign language upport
first color matching screen, scanner, printer
first soundsupport
first color matching screen, scanner, printer
first sound input
first virtual reality
first 3.5 Disk Drive
first virtual programing / hypercard
first CD-Rom
first Built in Networking
rograming / hypercard
first CD-Rom
firsMouse
Built in Networking

some newer stuff from memory is the wireless protocol as well was a mac based and introduced technology.

granted apple ripped of fuji xerox for the gui and windows followed suit.

I get paid very well knowing more then just risc based pcs and there is still a good demand for knowledge of other operating systems and applications.

but opinions are like anuses, everyones got one, hey.

good model btw for a start, thats well done.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

sorry i took a long time to reply! I've just come back from switzerland . Thanx for ur views. It was modelled on the Lotus Elise............ and it doesn't look anything like it! . But it still looks like a car... "Made out of clay" . It was rendered and made in C4D (Cinema 4D) and has 97575 polygons! AAAARRRRRGH! Ok for movies, but for a game..... waaaay too high! its a nurbs model..... so without the wheels, and in its low poly form.... it comes to 1647 polygons, which is better!
