1) using an image as a texture over a 3d object or 3d limb in dbpro - what's the max pixel size? is it 128x128 or 256x256 or 512x512 or unlimited? thought it was 256x256 but skymatter sales page suggests higher or more detailed than 256x256?

2) can you use cube images (ie six in total) over a sphere to get a more detailed scape?

3) whats the largest size (in terms of pixels) image for a backdrop?

please clarify for me - thanks

1) Theoretically unlimited, depending on your hardware. It must all be powers of two though.

2) Unless I'm very much mistaken, this can be done using cube mapping, you will need a shader-compatible card for it though.

3) If you mean backdrop such as 3D backdrop, these have been removed from DBP because its better implemented using a skybox or sphere. If you're talking about 2D, as far as I know once again there's not fixed limit bar that of your hardware.
