How good is this book? I have glimpsed it and I have heard that it really only deals with the 2D side properly, but exactly how good is it?

This is the sound of silence.

When a tree falls in a forest, and nobody hears it, does it make a sound?

Of course it does!

(Eh? stupid fingers..)

This is the sound of a lot of people having NOT bought the book.
Eh.

You trying to be funny or something? and the reason I asked is because I want to be able to get information without having to come onto the forum asking all the time I have quite a bit of working code but now I have to get it to work all togehter for my game.

So that is why I wish to know if this book is any damn good I don't want to waste my money on something that is completley useless

It covers 2d pretty well, and gives you the foundation for 3d in DB. It's mainly for people who don't have previous programming experience. If you find that many of your bugs are fixed from small little adjustments to syntax, or your logic isn't always correct then you should go ahead and get the book.
