My small team of guys are trying to work on an RPG, possibly with the hopes of eventually making it MMO-. We are going to use a extremely low-poly "stickman" for the animation, then glue the swapable items on and off the stickman (this way you can have tons of variations without a new model for each). This stickman is created in Anim8tor and animated in Milkshape 3D. This main character is going to be doing standard quests, fighting monsters, etc.

Is there a maximum number of frames of animation DBC will support?

What is a good amount of different animations we should create?

We will have maybe 5 attacking animations, but how do we make transitions for all of them to all of the others?

Any replies to this post will be greatly appreciated.
