Okay two things:
First, and more importantly, I am having trouble making a skybox for my game. I am trying to make a space shooter, and without the skybox it is looking really blank. I have downloaded a tutorial for skyboxes from this website (or some related website), and when i ran it, it showed the ground, but not the sky, instead i just get this dark bluish color. I have tried it on a different computer but i get the same results. It seems like an easy thing to make, so , after many of my own attempts, would someone be willing to make a skybox/skysphere for me or help me to? my main problem is when i make my skysphere, and the objects i am dealing with are inside of it, the objects almost dissapear, i can see some of the faces of the ships but not all. if i move out of the sphere it is back to normal. I will try to post a screenshot or something, if you don't get what I mean. When I tryed to make a skybox, it just made this gray square on the screen and didn't even texture it. i have been trying for a good month on this, so i would really appreciate any help.

Second, I am looking for a good wireless gamepad, it should have at least 50 foot range. I found the nyko airflo wireless gamepad has this, but I can't find where I can buy it. It should be around 40 dollars or less. does anyoe have any recommendtions of a gamepad that will work well with DarkBasic Pro?

Thanks for your help, any info u can give about either of these would be appreciated. Sorry about the really rambly post... my aim is crazyclown4355

1) Skyboxes and spheres are really easy, have you looked at any of the fps tutorials? They usually have one...Just make a really big sphere, but make sure its radius is less than the camera view distance, and texture it. Make sure culling is off. Now position it at the camera's position every loop. Having fog that is the same color as the bottom of the skysphere makes it look nice...

2) A pad for less than 40? At Best Buy you can get a $15 pad. I bought the $20 Logitech Dual Action though. More compatible than the generic ones...

Here is a Saitek P3000 on Amazon ($34):

Here is a Logitech Wingman, wireless version (various $):

Will those suffice?

The cube issue sounds like a problem with the face normals. When you specify a size, try making it negative, this basically makes the cube inside out and the texture should show up.
