Has any one here every tried selling one of the games you created with DarkBASIC Pro or the classic version on eBay? The idea crossed my mind to make a dutch auction, and also provide a link for a demo version in the description, as a try before buy.

I was thinking of doing that, setting up a store and putting everything for Buy Now and setting stock to infinity. Could be easier than setting up e-commerce yourself.

If you try this idea out before me keep us all updated on how well it works.

I was thinking of selling the source code to WordTrix 2.0 on Ebay... but a one shot deal for the rights without royalty. Hmmm... I have no idea what it's worth (probably nothing), but the game's been downloaded more than 15,000 times!

Advertise the idea of selling the source at a few various locations including your website before you do it. Then it'll signal more potential buyers.

I'd avoid a Dutch auction first time, buyers tend to avoid them too. It's usually your die-hard auctionees that go for them for the buzz.
