Hi!
What I want to do is a camera movement from one point (x0,y0,z0) to another (x1,y1,z1). My question is if there is a simple way to specify the path of the camera and the speed (instead of moving as a direct line connection form x0,y0,z0 to x1,y1,z1)? What I m trying to achieve is some sort of effects when the camera zoom in or zoom out to an object.

Are there any 3rd party functions that will make my life easier or any kind of tool that I can use?

Anyone can help out there?

Cheers
Maleck

There are a couple things I have found that work for me, some involve nice 3D math. Can you give a little more details on the kind of movement you are looking for from the camera and if this will be spherical around the object, or fixed above object, etc?

If you look in the Codebase, there are several examples of camera control, one I have actually added as well for camera movement around an object, similar to the control in games like Homeworld that was based off another example there. I had an issue with side-to-side and up-down camera movement, but I found a 3rd party DLL with commands that helped fix that. I was planing on updating the Codebase entry soon.
