DLL Talk / Returning a String PB DLL

Can anyone help me, I am trying to return a string to DBPro using
a Pure Basic DLL.

I have had issues trying to get PB to accept a string parameter and return a string witht he same function. I split the function into two like so: SetParameters(param1,param2, etc...) and then GetResult() returns a string based on those parameters and it worked fine. Not sure why.

Cybernetic wraith, Thanks for the reply, but I am not sure I understand what you are saying, there must be a way to do this using only one function. I was waiting for part 3 of the Pure Basic tutorial in the news letter but they put it of until next month, o well anyone else have any ideas.
