What happens if I refer you?
Why do we need to refer you?
If we leave our e-mail address here, are you going to email us or subit it to something?
What is the url where you get your ipod?

And of course, posting your email address in an easily readable format to a public forum, will be a sure way of stopping this from happening?

To the original poster - are you sure you just need 5 referers? According to their terms and conditions you actually need to take them up on their offer (whatever that is, but I bet it ain't free):

i. Complete and get credit for at least one offer themselves.

ii. Refer at least 5 unique people who join and also correctly complete an offer under the terms listed in this document.

Cheers,

Rich

Yeah I just looked into it further - it's not just getting 5 people onto the site, they (and you "Whatever") have to actually sign-up for one of the offers which at the moment include stuff like:

Taking out a 2 week trial with Blockbuster video
Buying 12 CDs (for the price of one!) from BMG Music
Buying some kind of video tutorial CD
Another video/DVD club
Paying to research your ancestors
Something with iFone
Buying 4 bags of gourmet coffee (?!)
Buying some kind of weight-loss product
Taking out a GM credit card
Buying yet more weight-loss products

Hmmm... like I said, nothing in this life is free

Cheers,

Rich

The cd offer is pretty good, considering it's xmas soon and older relatives just love the crud your usually get with those offers.

I don't need an iPOD though, I have a vintage Sony vaio mediaclip with 64mb of memory .

Can't you just send £5.00 in 12 envelopes and wait for the money to come rolling in?

Van - it's only open to people in the US

and the 12 CDs thing - you have to join their music club and get sent all kinds of chud each month (and buy a minimum number of CDs I bet too).
