Meta-Moderation.

Basically, how it works is in every post, there is a "Post Details" link, and by clicking on this link you can report that post to a moderator. Some things that the message could be marked as would be "Flaming", "Off Topic", "Trolling" (I hope you all know what forum trolling is, it's when you say something to get other people to flame you), "Offensive".

This could help the moderators, because overall we have a pretty trustworthy userbase, and we can mark things that we think should be moderated, and then all the mods would have to do is check their moderation queue.

I hope you get what I'm saying... it may be a bit confusing. Anyway, I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement, but I guess it could really help the modsquad.

I like the idea of a report to mod button.

Users should only be able to report once an hour though, that way we don't get spammed.

It's be a wee bit of a pain, but probably altogether for the best when it comes to spammage and stuff...

I had another resonable forum suggestion, But was scared of looking like a newbie telling people what to do

What it is, is like the Joined date and location info on the left of a members post, would be another field called 'Product[s]:' or 'DarkBASIC Version:', then when helping someone, you can easily see what version of DB they have. And you could also do it to say they have other TGC products, though there wouldnt be as much point.

Yes, it's very annoying saying, by the way I'm using DBC.
Then you get help for DBP.
Like the snippet your given has DBP only commands, with that feature people would just look and say:
Oh, too bad I can't help cuz of Classic...

I think posters on these forums should clearly state what they are using, and the people trying to help should make sure they are helping with the appropriate language. That would save the mods a hell of a lot of trouble... And if you get help for a language you dont have, then you should just disregard it and clearly restate what you are using.

Just an opinion.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that this meta-mod thing isn't my idea, I originally came to know it from [href]www.gamefaqs.com[/href].
