On the gameSpace area of this site, it says that gameSpace dosn't have a trial version. it does. and it never runs out either. the only limitations are(this is copied and pasted from http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/gsl/gsl.asp):
Quote: "
There is no real catch - this is a working application that will let you start creating very basic 3D content!
Of course, it does have some restrictions that make it significantly different from the full gameSpace1.5 - you can only save models of up to 650 polygons, scenes of up to 5000 polygons, most of the import and export formats are removed (you still have .X for using the models in your games or code!), rendering is limited in size and will have a watermark, and you cannot load plug-ins into gameSpace Light.

However, there are no removed modeling or animating tools, and no time limit - you can use gameSpace Light for as long as you choose! If you have any more questions about gameSpace Light, then you should be able to find the answers on the gameSpace Light FAQ page.
"

You can download it by fillling out their form here: http://forms.caligari.com/gamespace/gsl.asp
I HIGHLY recommend this freeware to anyone want a great free modeling package and anyone not wanting to pay $299 for gameSpace1.5 full.

That's not the trial version you posted, and there isn't a trial anymore because of Game Space Lite, which is a dumbed down version of Gamespace, well no really it has limitations like a maximum poly count of 750 polys per object.

hey, i've been using it a LOT to make game models until i the real version. 'Trial' means to try out, in any way. Caligari obviously wants you to buy it after you 'try' the light version.

by x, you mean .x?
well i personally HATE .x (because its made by m$)
but then, 3ds.... gameSpace don't save to it normally and it dosn't save the anims for 3ds.
.md2 have WAY too many limitations and...
.md3 dbpro dosn't load it for me.
and i am not planning to make all my games in c++ or vb, now. db is good for me.
