Hello .

with the X4E development, I create in // few TPC plugin for DBPro.
There is the list of these plugin called : "DBPro Extended TPC Pack"

DBProBasic2DExtends.dll :
- Custom Game GUI System ( the one used in X-Quad Editor )
DBProBasic3DExtends.dll :
- Billboard support
- Support for BillBoarded Rain system
- Support for Billboarded Snow system
- Support for Billboarded Water-bubbles system
- RealTime Skybox ( with full customisation for clouds, sun, moon, and more )
DBProInputExtends.dll :
- Support for Highscore Load/Save/Add/Clear with : name, score, level.
DBProAnimationLanguage.dll :
- Script Engine for 3DObjects, Cameras, 3DSounds, Sprites.
DBProCoreExtends.dll :
- Bit manipulation ( Test, Set, Unset )
DBProMath3D.dll :
- 3D Calculations for distances and some other simple math calculations.

I think I'll release them as 1 plugin pack and will probably sell the pack at a low price ( like TGC plugin pack )

What do you think about these ?

yes but remember ... all work merit to be paid
it is more when it's something other people don't do !

and I just finish by :
free is good but don't pay food to live

( just to tell the amount of work, there are more than 9000 source code lines when I assemble all these DLLs ... Don't you think it merit something ??? )

It actually comes out to many things.

1.) Will these commands be useful?
Are some of the effects you offer common special effects, commands, or features in todays games?

2.) Can I create these commands myself?
If I can already create these commands, why pay for them?

3.) Will I make a worthy enough sum to sell these?
(which is what you're asking now )

After reviewing those questions, I'd say your DLL is worthy to be sold.

All them are usefull except the last 2(to me).

Quote: "all work merit to be paid"

But not necesarly in money.

And these are more usefull than the TGC ones.

@ Ilya : not necessarly ... but money is the first choice ... now if people find precise solutions ... they can always submit and find an agreement ...

@IanG : I agree, I like freeware softwares ... but more the time passes, more I see that there are less free software and new ones are ofter shareware ...

I've forget to mention for DBProBasic2DExtends.dll :
- Support for Bitmapped fonts 8x8, 16x16, 32x32 and 64x64 pixels wide

Sounds great Freddix. Go ahead, sell it. People will always ask us to release it for free.
