Well, I would counter that I am still amazed that anyone can use Milkshape lol. I can't figure out how to use it. Problem is Blender is the only thing I can use but I can't use it for games.

Methinks I used "use" too much in that reply.

Anyway, here is an update.

i added chairs, and some other details.

[EDIT]
Another update:

more comments, suggestions, critiques please.

From the screen it looks a bit like a V shape (front wider then back) but other then that pretty good - Not so good for in game tho (way too many polies)

that last pic looks a lot better, although the model needs reengeniring from scratch, in my opinion, if you did that, u can do much better, do you use reference pics ? its seams a bit to long and to large at front, although i dont now carrera, also the windshield seams to round on the top, change that and it will look much better, keep up the good work m8

Its the first car ive made. I was using a 3/4 view of the car to model it since I can't figure out how to put a reference pic in blender. This is a top view after changing the windshield. It doesn't really look like the front is bigger from that view.

here is a rendering with the change.

Before I start a new car, I need two things. First, S.P.: You said it needed reengineering. What should I do differently? I started by outlining the side of the hood with verticies, then extruding to form the hood, and so on.
Also, what car should I model. I was thinking Lotus Elise but it really seems a little two similar and it wouldn't be as fun.

master chief, your lotos doenst have tires, or at least tire rubber, the front hood is to long, the way the widshield fits at the front hood looks strange, try change that, GO change it, im liking the model , with a few touches youll have a great Carrera GT

It is impressive, but to be frank, it needs some work on the proportions. Just some constructive criticism: The hood is too long, the headlights are too small and too far apart, the wheels are too small, and the back is too square.

Sorry if that sounded really mean, but I know I couldn't do as good as you did. I am just a Porsche fanatic. I really like your model. I think an older 911 would be easier to model, a little less curvy.

No comments really, mainly because they've all been taken nice, but could you help me out a bit with Blender, it's very confusing and I just need a few basic commands because I can import my Wings 3d models into in their orignal format which is definatly pimped; kinda like your car.

Sorry for the slow response I had thought this thread was dead.
Anime I could help you with blender do you have AIM or something I could contact you with? Also, the car does actually have tires, they just aren't very easy to see in the shadow. I will try to make them better.

Heh, thats the same pic i was using except with a different background.
Anime, I'm not too great at modelling humans... I guess you could use the Make Human plug but its somewhat high poly. Ive tried the humans but it always ends up looking pretty ugly.

Really the trouble I'm havin is when I have to extrude to make a neck it looks great un sub surfed but when I subsurf it and I make it look smooth, I think I might throw up.

Well, when you subsurf it the object becomes a little smaller, since the edges are being smoothed. That means you exaggerate the proportions a little to make it look right subsurfed. Also, when you smooth, the normals are sometimes a little messed so exit edit mode, select the object, then press ctrl-n to recalculate normals. It should make the black lines go away. Tell me if that wasn't your problem.

With the subsufring things the hexagon plateu things starts to come off the edge and looks like it was poorly glued on.
Thanks for the suggestions you given me more help then almost all of Elysiun.
