The monitor is a little blue sphere that guides you through part of Halo, it has little flying sentry's and they're usually killing the Flood - I actually quite liked the levels with her.

Nothing is more annoying than the NPC's in Unreal2 - I mean they put in an NPC and deliberately make you want to kill him (he's a right git), but then disable friendly fire. Even if I had to start the level again, being able to shoot him in the face then laugh at him would have made me feel better.

Thats my favorite part of the game, while going to get the index. Makes you think Classic Doom with all them tons of flood coming to get ya in a small confined space. I guess none of you have played through it on legendary though? Really gets crazy in that part.
