Just wanted to know what game genres everyone is working on in DB. I'm working on an RTS calld "Destiny of a Fallen Angel" I've only just started and this is my first proper game, talk about jumping in at the deep end!

Also which genre do you think is hardest (or easist) to program in DB?

Just as a test, First person shooter, as they seem easier to create. As soon as I get the hang of coding, I'm going onto a racer, then a rpg, then a action adventure, then 2d platforming, and onto other things like drawing tools and that

My major project is an RPG called Ultra.
The name came from the sub-tital "Ultimate power stone" which is what the main story is based on.

But since RPGs are very hard to make, it will not be out for some years....

I wouldn't say that RPG's are that much harder to make as far as the complexity of the code goes, you'd just need to make a lot more code.

I'm working on an RPG called The Magic Land, there are lots of shots and info on my site. When I'm done with TML I will make a new version of Cyber Control that is a TPS. And after that I have an AA planned. Then I will circle those 3 engines for some time.

Hmmm.... RPG's seem to be the favourites then. Do you reckon making an RTS (C&C Style) game would be hard?

Turn-based, squad-level strategy game. I'm also considering having a real-time option as well, just like Apocalypse.

I don't think an RTS would be too hard to program; after designing the code structure for a turn-based game, it might actually be easy to do real-time.

Making a 3rd person.....chopper. 3rd Person Medevil game. I like 3rd person better than 1st because in 3rd you can roll, hang from ledges, ect.... I Think the easiest to code would be a 2d side scroller. The hardest would be a mulit veiw action game with a full level editor.
