Well, finally getting rid of my old video card a NVIDIA Geofrce MX 420, a 2 generations ago budget level card.

Replacing it with a slightly more midrange card from the last generation the Chaintech FX5700LE 256MB.

Should arrive by Fedex tonight says the tracking #. So I'm thinking, I should test and compare my FPS gains.

Any good tech demos out there for that? Looks like a lotta dead links on the boards to them.

3D Mark 2005.

Start downloading it now, it'll probably have finished by the time the card arrives!

Woah that's big. Alright, downloading now. Thanks.

Hmm. I wonder if I should finally start experimenting with overclocking.

Not unless it wouldn't bother you to have to buy a new one very soon . Even when it's done perfectly, there's a slim risk factor and a lower lifespan for the card. Really, with a card that nice, why would you need to overclock? I can't think of a single game it wouldn't handle quite well (yet).
